AI can write. But should it? And how do you use it without losing your voice? This workshop is about partnership — using AI as a thinking tool, an editor, and a collaborator, not a replacement.
Who This Is For
Women who write — emails, reports, lesson plans, articles, WhatsApp messages to their community, content for a business. If words are part of your life, this workshop will change how you produce them.
What You Will Learn
Session 1: AI as a Writing Partner What AI does well with language. What it does poorly. The difference between generating text and refining thought. You will use AI to brainstorm, outline, and draft — and learn when to hand the reins back to yourself.
Session 2: Finding and Keeping Your Voice AI is good at producing generic text. It is not good at sounding like you. You will learn techniques for teaching AI your tone and style — and for recognizing when the output has drifted from your voice.
Session 3: Writing for Different Audiences How to adapt tone, length, and structure for different contexts — professional, personal, educational, communal. You will practice shifting between modes with AI assistance.
Session 4: Editing and Refinement The real skill is not generating text. It is editing it. You will learn to use AI as an editor — catching repetition, tightening arguments, finding clearer ways to say what you mean. By the end, you will have a polished piece of writing and a repeatable process.
What You Need
A laptop or tablet with internet access. Something you want to write — it can be anything from a work email to a personal essay.
